Solino's Harar coffee is a very special new coffee. The beans of this single origin coffee come from the region of the same name, Harar, in the east of Ethiopia. This growing region is known for its rich soil, which also produces these wonderfully aromatic coffee beans. The growing area around the town of Harar is very small, so the supply of beans is also limited. This, combined with its incomparable taste, makes Harar coffee one of the most expensive in the world. The natural sweetness of the beans is underlined by fine notes of orange, almond and chocolate. Bitterness, acidity and sweetness work in perfect synergy in this bean, so that none of them dominates strongly, but the result is a balanced symphony of aromas.

In the official Specialty Coffee Assessment (SCA), Harar espresso scored 80.33 points. It therefore qualifies as a true specialty coffee. Only beans of excellent quality and sensory analysis are awarded this distinction. What struck the judges most about the Harar was its pronounced roasted aroma, pleasant fruity taste and lingering aftertaste.

An excellent coffee that is perfect for espresso and also for milk drinks such as cappuccino.
