Solino Yirgacheffe is an Ethiopian specialty coffee. The beans for this unique roast are grown in the region of the same name in southwest Ethiopia. A special characteristic of this growing region is that the beans are grown at altitudes of up to 2000 metres. The soil also offers optimal conditions for aromatic coffee beans. The richness in nutrients gives the beans a floral and slightly spicy taste. A strong fruitiness is skilfully balanced by slightly bitter notes, which do not overpower. The aftertaste is reminiscent of ripe limes and lingers for a long time in the mouth.

Like its brother, the Harar coffee, Yirgacheffe has been awarded the official title of Specialty Coffee. In the official SCA tasting, Yirgacheffe received 83.08 points.

The Yirgacheffe blend is ideal for use as a filter coffee, for example in a French press or manual filter. However, this espresso also works very well in an automatic or espresso machine.
