200g of Salted Liquorice

A diamond-shaped licorice with a subtle salty note. The salt content is not too overpowering. Even those who are not particularly fond of salted licorice find it delicious. Thanks to the unique blend of ammonium chloride salt and unrefined sea salt, this variety is extremely popular. The refined taste and perfect texture led Felix Wilbrink, food journalist for the newspaper De Telegraaf, to make the following comments after tasting the best salted licorice ever: "The licorice instantly unfolds on the tongue, the taste is almost creamy, the licorice melts quickly, hardly sticks, and the balance between sweet and salty is perfect. Celtic sea salt from the salt marshes of Guérande is used for Klepper & Klepper products. Here, seawater reaches the marshy areas, where it evaporates and leaves the salt behind. Local Breton salt workers scrape off the delicate top layer, resulting in a high-quality salt that does not need to be dried, refined, or washed.
