PANETTONE GLASSATO Mondicaffè 1Kg

It's that time again! Like every year, Christmas is just around the corner. The Christmas decorations are still packed away in the attic and gifts for loved ones are still missing. The starting signal for the

annual winter Christmas chaos is ringing in our ears. But don't worry, we have the solution, you can count on us.

As we do every year, just in time for the holidays, we offer the absolute classic Christmas treat straight from Italy: the unique, delicious and moist Panettone from Mondicaffè. ❤️

Whether it's a delicious, bulky and sweet "brioche", a lovely gift and deliciously displayed to its advantage on the kitchen table, you can't pass up this panettone!

Here, everything is perfect! The Panettone Glassato combines the art of traditional Italian pastry with modern taste like no other. Its masterly appearance is particularly appealing due to the deliciously irregular surface of the shiny brown leavened dough. Italy's love and passion for panettone making is evident in every bite. The combination of its light and fluffy consistency, crunchy icing (glassato), firm almonds and sultanas creates a wonderfully harmonious and varied taste experience.

Combined with a freshly brewed Mondicaffè coffee, they will become the new hotspot on the family coffee table.

PS: Everyone knows the Christmas story! Impress your guests and surprise them with 500 years of jealously guarded panettone know-how: the first panettone was born in Milan as early as 1499, following an emergency situation. During a reception for Prince Ludovico Sforza, the real dessert burned in the oven. So Antonio, the kitchen boy, sacrificed a leavened pastry from his stash to create a soft and fluffy cake with flour, eggs, sugar, candied fruit and sultanas. This newly created cake so excited the prince and the nobility that it was called Pan de Toni (Toni's bread), hence the current name "Panettone".
