Zuccotti are typical Sicilian biscuits made with crispy shortcrust pastry. The dough contains a soft, savoury centre of ground Avola almonds, cinnamon and zuccata, a delicious Sicilian pumpkin jam. This last ingredient is widely used in traditional local pastries to fill biscuits and cakes.

Ingredients FILLING: ground Sicilian almonds 29% (15% of total), candied fruit and vegetable puree (pumpkin, brassica, oranges, mandarins, sugar, glucose syrup, salt, sodium bicarbonate, flavourings, ingredients: sulphur dioxide), sugar, water, mixed flower honey, sweetener: sorbitol, thickener: carob flour, maraschino liqueur, cinnamon, natural flavourings.
