Caffè Trucillo
Today, as in the past, the mission is undoubtedly the production of high-quality coffee, but above all, the promotion of Italian high-end coffee culture.
Founder Trucillo
The history of Trucillo Caffè began over 70 years ago, when the founder Cesare Trucillo discovered his passion for coffee roasting. In 1950, Cesare started roasting green coffee near the Amalfi Coast. Then, packed in paper bags, he delivered it to local bars and neighboring friends. The coffee quickly became very popular, and a few years later, Moka Salerno was born.
Some time later, Matteo Trucillo, Cesare's son, also joined the company and demonstrated great commitment, following in his father's footsteps. To associate the business with the family name and its values, in 1988 Matteo changed the name of Caffè Moka Salerno to Cesare Trucillo Spa.
Trucillo continues to strive for the best possible quality in its products, creating blends that meet the diverse expectations and needs of consumers. This balance can only be achieved if each team member works with ambition and passion throughout the production process. Every step, from sourcing green coffee to packaging roasted beans, is carried out with the utmost care and precision.
Trucillo sources high-quality Arabica and Robusta beans for its unique blends from coffee-producing countries across three continents: Central and South America, Africa, and Asia. Here, the best beans are selected and prepared for transport to Italy.
Frequent quality controls of both raw coffee and the finished product ensure that Trucillo coffees maintain consistent quality.
Thus, the brand, with its principles of tradition, innovation, craftsmanship, and a passion for quality, has already secured a strong position in more than 30 countries worldwide.
The meticulous selection of beans, with up to a maximum of 7 varieties in a blend, combined with a gentle roasting process, results in a coffee characterized by a smooth body, floral to chocolatey flavors, and a creamy finish that lingers on the palate.
