The BWT water filter jug is the best in its class. It enriches tap water with magnesium and reduces limescale. Ordinary water filters also remove minerals such as limescale and chlorine, but they upset the mineral balance of the water. The Pengiun 2.7 L, on the other hand, ensures a neutral pH value thanks to the addition of magnesium. This filtering process makes the water particularly soft, making it ideal for making coffee and tea. The exchange of minerals takes place in the patented "magnesium mineraliser", which is inserted into the carafe. Calcium ions are exchanged for magnesium ions. This device also filters out heavy metals, limescale and chlorine. This gentle addition of magnesium allows the mineral to be absorbed by the body more effectively and for longer than a sudden, strong magnesium concentrate, as is the case with tablets (food supplements).

Pengiun has a modern, ergonomic design. It's easy to fill and fits into any standard fridge. A manual indicator is located on the lid. One filter cartridge is enough to filter up to 120 litres of water. You'll need to change it every 4 weeks.It's dishwasher safe, but the lid should be cleaned by hand.
