Sant'Eustachio Nespresso®* compatible capsules
25 capsules of 5g each
Since 1938, Sant'Eustachio has been carrying on the tradition of roasting for a perfect espresso. The quality of the beans is its top priority. Only 100% Arabica beans of the best varieties pass the high quality barrier of the brothers Raimondo and Roberto Ricci. A visit to this small, refined café in the heart of Rome is a must for all coffee connoisseurs. The secret Gran Caffè blend, which is already legendary throughout the world, has a taste that is simply incomparable. As in the past, the high-quality beans are roasted one by one over a wood fire.
The following Arabica varieties are used:
Brazilian grains - Sul de Minas
The beans are dried naturally in the sun, thus preserving their taste characteristics. A very complex coffee with a slight acidity and a full-bodied taste.
St. Helena Island beans - a true gourmet speciality
Only the best coffee cherries are picked each week. In this form, the quality of the harvest is unique. These beans have a perfect balance between acidity and body. A beautifully fragrant bouquet with floral and fruity touches. The medium-bodied body is reminiscent of chocolate and spices.
Grains from the Dominican Republic
The warm sea currents and continuous air currents favour the quality of these Guaigui beans. This coffee is seductive with its roundness and cocoa aromas. Low in acidity and remarkably creamy, it is perfect for espresso.
Bourbon beans from the Galapagos Islands
The Bourbon variety has been grown on the island for 140 years. It has the ideal climatic conditions to become a top coffee. Volcanic soils and a high mineral content promote superior quality. The plants are grown organically, in harmony with this natural paradise.
Guatemalan beans - Fair Trade
92% of the population of Chajul is indigenous. The "Asociacion Chajulense Va'l Vaq Quyol" (literally: one voice) has been improving the living conditions of the Maya-Ixil since 1988. Coffee production generates 80% of the income. Today, the small communities sell the coffee directly abroad. Previously, they had to sell it to middlemen at low prices. This very fine coffee is organically grown and controlled.
Organic Sidamo beans, Ethiopia
The ideal geographical and climatic conditions in the motherland of coffee make Sidamo so interesting for gourmet roasts. A deeply spicy aroma emanates from these small beans, complemented by aromas of chocolate and wine. Floral notes and pronounced citrus blossom aromas with bright, clear acidity complete the pleasure.
With great care and knowledge of the roasting requirements of these various premium varieties, the Sant'Eustachio Gran Caffè gourmet espresso is created, the proportions of which are secret.
Today, it is no longer enough to buy a coffee with excellent taste and exceptional quality. When buying a product, one must also consider how it is made and the entire production and marketing chain. (Roberto Ricci)
